Photoblog with random writings...from NY's Lower Hudson ValleyTulips are up!
This is the first year I've had tulips in my garden in a long time. Well, I've had them in my garden, but just when the buds were reaching up through the leaves, the deer used to come and mow them down. But it seems the deer prevention techniques are working this year.

Yes! Tulips! I've always avoided planting them because the bunnies liked them too. Lovely pictures. And I see from your other post that your hostas are up too. That's a beautiful flower bed you've created.
Thanks! I'm so neurotic now about putting down the smelly anti-deer milorganite now...my husband thinks I'm nuts!
