A River Runs Beneath It

Mid-Hudson Bridge, Poughkeepsie, NY
Another photo from the mid-winter fog on the Hudson River. No fog today...back to winter with temps in the 20's.

I stumbled onto your blog from a different blog site and just had to tell you that your pictures are astoundingly lovely. And, as a West Coaster who's only veiw of NY is from movies, :) it's nice to see such a primitive, peaceful and natural side of that state. Oh, and congrats on your novel (I read back through some past entries)!

Thank you very much, Heather! This part of NY, my home, is about 90 miles north of New York City. Still mostly open space, but someone let the secret out about how lovely it is. Curses!

Thanks re: the novel! Worked hard to get it done. Now I have to work hard to edit it.

Take care and stop by again. = )
