Chasing sunsets

On the way to picking up pizza for dinner, I noticed the sunset through the trees. Our favorite pizza place is in a place called "Fishkill Plains," obviously not the best place to view a sunset. So I sped past the pizza place through to the next town to get to some high ground and get the picture. It was a gorgeous sunset, the clouds were breaking up in horizontal layers with the rays of light, gold and pinks, shining through. The sun was masked just behind the clouds...I so wanted this picture!! Alas, by the time I got to a hill, it was set. And the pizza was cold.
